Scarecrows Galore!

We went to a village Scarecrow Weekend...
....all aboard the Scarecrow viewing bus!
John & Yoko welcome you to the village
...but beware of catching anything!
Even Scarecrow painters insist on tea breaks...
Some probably drink something a little stronger!
And some don't worry one way or the other!
Topicality was represented by The Right Honourable Dick Turpin with his bag of expenses and the door to his second house!
Three Scarecrows fix their trucks...
A straw woman cleans her windows while her straw neighbours look on...
The Scarecrow has landed!
....and the Scotsman tells the world about it.
Even crows can get bird flu!
As usual the police were chasing motorists....
Instead of being at this crime scene where a Scarecrow had
been chopped in half!
....while one neighbour went fishing!
...and his other neighbour casually trimmed his bushes.
The offender was caught and put in the stocks
...and was eventually sentenced to a lifetime of pulling this farm
tractor up and down the High Street!
Like Susan Simmer, these villagers really do have talent...
...they are so creative it was a real pleasure to view their handiwork.
